Regarding the wishes and needs of the students and their level, I basically like to get a picture of the students first and then promote them in the fields where I see their biggest potential. I respect each dancer’s style and technique. Therefore, I don’t expect them to adopt my personal style, but rather try to ensure that they find their own way of expression. Due to my qualification in different techniques in oriental dance – no matter if classical, modern or experimental –, I guide my students through the process of integrating new movements and techniques into their dance repertoire by correcting and improving them using specific drills and combinations. This proved to be very helpful especially for advanced dancers who both want to extend their repertoire and take their self-created choreographies to the next level in order to enhance and polish their performances.

“After a long search I found what I was looking for in Lorena. She is an excellent teacher, always brings new ideas and inputs and she can also teach a lot about the history and culture of oriental dance. She has a challenge ready for every student and picks you up wherever you are. In addition to her talent as a great teacher, she is also a very good dancer. Seldom have I seen someone dance with so much dedication, emotion and expression. I can recommend her from the bottom of my heart to all interested people. No matter how long the journey is, it is worth it!”
“Lorena’s lessons are always my highlight of the week. It is very structured and well designed. Lorena is always perfectly prepared and responds to all the questions and difficulties we students have. She commands great theoretical and practical expertise in oriental dance. What makes her style special is that she also incorporates elements from ballet. Lorena’s classes are great fun! I move muscles that I didn’t even know I had, and Lorena always keeps an eye on us to make sure we do the movements correctly.”
“I love Lorena’s dance classes, both oriental and ballet. The classes have a clear and varied structure and also have room for exciting background information and individual feedback. Lorena always manages to integrate challenging techniques into cool combinations and beautiful choreographies, so that you learn a lot and have fun. Since I´ve started dancing with Lorena, I have made a big leap, and even after several years I never get bored. I am very grateful to have such a good teacher and would recommend her 100 %.”
